AFTERCARE GUIDE

SCULPTURAL CANDLES

1. Decorative Delights: Our sculptural candles are designed to adorn your space with elegance. When not in use, please avoid exposing them to direct sunlight and keep them away from heat sources to preserve their exquisite shape and color.

2. Pre-Burn Preparations: Before igniting your candle, ensure that all packaging has been removed. Trim the wick to a length of 0.5cm to facilitate an optimal burn experience and reduce smoke.

3. Safety First: Expect wax spillage during burning. To safeguard your surroundings, always place your candle on a level, fire-resistant tray or dish when you decide to kindle its flame.

4. Time and Tranquility: Enjoy your candle's radiance for up to 2 hours at a time. Should your candle release excessive drips, promptly extinguish the flame, allowing the wax to cool before relighting.

5. Savor Every Bit: Extinguish the candle when approximately 1cm of wax remains. Resist the urge to relight at this point. Instead, repurpose the remaining wax by using it in your wax melter/warmer to fully embrace the enchanting aroma.

6. Guardian's Watch: Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Keep away from children and pets. Ensure a minimum of 10cm between burning candles and any other objects. Avoid placing candles on or near flammable materials.

Remember, these instructions are designed to ensure the longevity and safety of your sculptural soy candles. Enjoy the captivating ambiance they bring to your space.

*Note: Always exercise caution when handling lit candles and be sure to read and follow any additional safety guidelines provided with your candle.*

CONTAINER CANDLES

Burn times will always vary depending on the placement of your candle. Drafty areas will burn slightly quicker. Burn times will also vary depending on the height of your wick. The longer the wick, the quicker the candle will burn.

You can extend your candles burn time by burning the candles long enough to allow the wax pool to reach the edge. If you do not allow them to burn all the way to the edge of the container when you first burn them, they will begin to tunnel down into the wax instead of melting all the way to the edges.

Cotton wick:

1.Trim wick to 0.5 cm before burning your candle. You can use a wick trimmer, scissor or a nail trimmer, whatever works for you. This step will ensure a clean burn and no unnecessary smoke.

2. Only burn candles on an even, fireproof surface.

3. Only burn candles within sight.

4. At the first burn, make sure you get a full melted pool ( when the melted wax reaches the edges of the container). This step will help to get  an even burn and prevents candles from tunnelling ( when the wax on the sides remains unmelted).

5. Keep candles aways from children & pets.

6. Do not light candles near anything that can catch fire.

7. Do not burn these candles more than 3 hours at a time.

8. Containers will get hot during the burn, do not move the candles while lit.

WOODEN WICK:

Wood wicks are a bit different than a traditional cotton wick- they burn longer, cleaner, and create a charming crackling sound. But, they do require a bit of extra care. ... The shorter the wick, the better the flame. If the wick is too long, it won't pull the wax and will extinguish quickly, or it will produce black smoke.

Since wooden wicks have a wide base, unlike traditional cotton wicks, they are able to create wider melt pools resulting in a clean, even burn.

Wooden wicks lend a clean, modern aesthetic and a unique touch to a candle.

1.Trim wick to 0.2cm before burning your candle. You can use a wick trimmer, scissor or a nail trimmer, whatever works for you. This step will ensure a clean burn and no unnecessary smoke.

2. Only burn candles on an even, fireproof surface.

3. Only burn candles within sight.
