 Elevate your candle experience to the fullest with our expertly curated candle care recommendations. Taking a few simple steps will not only enhance the longevity and performance of your candle but also ensure a safer and more enjoyable ambiance.

1. First Light, Best Light: When lighting your candle for the first time, trim the wick to 0.5cm and allow the wax to melt evenly across the entire surface. This helps prevent tunnelling and sets the stage for an optimal burn every time.

2. Trim, Trim, Trim: Before each lighting, trim the wick to approximately 1/4 inch. This prevents excessive flickering, soot, and ensures a clean, steady flame.

3. Patience is a Virtue: Allow your candle to burn for a minimum of 2-3 hours during each use. This encourages an even wax pool and prevents unsightly tunnelling, ensuring you enjoy the full life of your candle.

4. Embrace the Melt Pool: To ensure an even burn, keep your candle lit until the entire top layer becomes a luxurious melt pool. This practice prevents memory rings and uneven wax consumption.

5. Safety First: Always place your candle on a heat-resistant surface and away from drafts, flammable materials, and out of reach of children and pets. Never leave a burning candle unattended.

6. Snuff, Don't Blow: When extinguishing your candle, use a snuffer or a spoon. This prevents smoke and minimises soot, leaving your space clean and fresh and it's safer than blowing them out, which can send sparks and hot wax flying and the wick may continue to glow and emit smoke.

7. Preserve the Lid: When not in use, keep your candle covered with its lid ( if it has ) or a glass dome. This protects the fragrance and prevents dust from settling on the wax.

8. It's time to say good bye: Don’t burn candles completely - extinguish them once 2 cm of wax remain and don't relit. 

9. Reuse & Recycle: Once your candle has reached its end, repurpose the container for endless possibilities. We're committed to eco-conscious practices, and our packaging is designed with recycling in mind.

• Candles are sensitive to temperature and light. To prevent candles from fading, cracking and melting, store your candles in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, dust and fluorescent light. Store your candles in an upright position and don’t leave your candles in a car on a warm day.

 • Never leave burning candles unattended.

• Keep candles out of reach of children and pets.

• Never go to sleep with a candle still burning, and never leave a burning candle or oil burner in a child’s bedroom.

• Do not position candles or fragrance products on or near TV cabinets, electrical items or heat sources.

• Never burn a candle for longer than 4 hours at a time. After the maximum recommended burn time, let it cool, trim the wick and relight.

• Ensure that your wick is always centred.

• Always use candles and fragrance products on an appropriate tray. Under no circumstances should a candle be placed directly on a table or any other surface that may be subject to damage.

• Under no circumstances should any product that generates heat, flame or fragrance be placed directly onto antique, valuable or highly polished furniture.

• A draught can cause a candle to smoke. Avoid burning candles in an area where there is a draught.

• Do not use if the container is cracked, chipped or broken.

• If a candle has multiple wicks, then all wicks must be lit every time.

• Don’t burn candles completely - discard them once they have burnt to 2cm from their base or holder.

• Candle containers may become hot. Handle with care and wait for the wax to set and the candle to cool before moving. Never move a burning candle.

• When lighting a candle using a match, take care to prevent any match debris from dropping onto the candle.

• Always keep the wax pool free from foreign objects such as wick trimmings, wick particles, match debris and dust.

• A burning candle may generate significant heat above the flame so always position well away from combustible materials.

• Don’t put candles under shelves. It’s easy to forget that there’s a lot of heat above a burning candle. If you put your candle under a shelf or other surface it may burn the surface above.

• Make sure there are at least three feet (one meter) between a candle and any surface above it.

• Keep clothes and hair safely away. If there’s any chance you could lean across a candle and forget it’s there, put it somewhere else. You don’t want to set fire to your clothes or your hair.
